I would like to say sorry for not getting back to the comments from my last blog, but what can I say its a mad house here at the moment and it looks like it will get worst before it gets better , I think a dark cave is looking good at the moment as long as I can take some quilting. I got 10 of the 12 blocks made on the weekend for the new quilt I'm working on ( it great what you can do when DH is not home). So hopefully I will get to finish the other 2 soon . Today I got a lovely surprise in the post all the way from Texas. I was in a quick Christmas swap and my partner was the lovely Frieda as you can see I was spoilt with all the lovely fabric, ribbon and some buttons.
Take care and happy sew
Big Hugs

Madhouse here always , my house I mean lol !
ReplyDeleteI, too, live in a mad house. I'm hoping to catch up on some rest on Thanksgiving tomorrow! So a dark cave sounds pretty good to me!
ReplyDeleteLove your swap goodies, Bec!
There just seems to be something about this time of year! You're not alone tho I think most of us feel like we live in a madhouse I know I do especially with 3 teenagers, mix that with 3 friends add a bass guitar, a piano etc Lol! Oh and where did all that food go...
ReplyDeleteI am so happy your goodies arrived. I was collecting things to send another because I did not want you to not have a package after mine was so wonderful. I think my favorite thing was the two sided ribbon. Have a nice week and I hope life slows down a wee bit for you.

I hope you don't get to busy, because december is for all of us a very busy month. Be careful you are not to tired for Christmas. I like your goodies. Mine came from Australia. All the lovely things I get came from Australia this time.
