First of all John and I would like to say thank you for the birthday wishes he had a great day even if he has to wait for his present from us until the 19 (that's when it comes in ) but that is what he wanted and he said he doesn't mine the wait, makes his birthday last longer.

I would love to say that this is one of my quilts but alas it is not . It is from two of the Nice's ladies I have ever had the joy of knowing and I miss them heaps. Gina and Dana are the ladies and they are my old neighbours from Tassy. This lovely quilt is one of theirs that they sent for me to quilt. The colours are so me.

One of the blocks.

I think some times the back can look as good as the front, don't you

I have put roses in the corner as Gina loves her garden and spending time in it. I often don't get to photo the quilts I do because of time or they have been picked up,so it makes a change to be able to do this. I hope you have a great day.
Hugs Bec

  1. That is a lovely quilt. Your'r right. Sometimes the back is very nice to look at. The quilting often stands out more on the back.

  2. I think the back of a quilt should be lovely, too! It can be a great place to showcase quilt stitches!

Your children are so beautiful, Bec! Tell John I said Happy Birthday, too!

  3. That is such a sweet quilt and yes sometimes I think we forget to show how pretty that back is.

  4. A lovely quilt and a great quilting job. I am sad you life so far away and I can't bring my quilts for quilting.

  5. What a pretty quilt! And the quilting is awesome! Sometimes I enjoy the back of the quilt just as much as the front........the quilting is the shining star on the back!

  6. That is a beautiful quilt!!!
    A big hug from Italy

  7. It's a great quilt.

    Love and hugs Gina xxx
