Hello. What a week! I have never been more proud to call my self an Australian as I do now with all the help and donations coming in for the flood and fire victims. My quilting group have all pulled together and donated to both causes.
I have just received an email from Busy Thimbles asking for assistance for Carol Freeman in north east Victoria. She is asking quilters to make 12" blocks to turn in to quilts for the fire victims. If you can help with this send your block to:

Carol Freeman
PO Box 243
Barnawartha Vic 3688

Thank you
Hugs to all

This is Binks the brains of the outfit

and this is Harry, his brother the muscles of the outfit.
They are our much loved British Blues, I fined it amazing how they know when you need a bit more attention if your day is not been the best or when you are trying to sew the binding on a quilt and they can't wait to test it out . Harry is my number one quilt tester and enjoys nothing more than to crawl in to one for a good afternoon sleep.

Well here is the second block from Willow berry designs , now I have to wait a month for the next block. Looking forward to seeing what next months block will be. I think I have mastered the camera with the help from my hubby.
Bye for now.

Here it is the first Block of the month from Willowberry Designs, will start second block tomorrow. They are lovely little stitchery to do and can't wait to see them all together in the finished quilt.

We managed to see the sun this weekend and went out to the dam to enjoy the weather. My niece and the boys all enjoyed playing with my new digital camera. As you can see they are just a bit better at using it than me at the moment. Not sure who took this picture, but it goes to show that kids never have there eyes on the ground ,might explain why Nick always trips over things.
