Hello to all I would like to say thank you to everyone how wished Nicholas a happy birthday.
He had a great one with lots of lovely things and a sleep over with his best friend. They were up to the wee hours of the morning hyped up on movies, lollies, chips and other goodies. I think sleepovers where one of the best things when I was a kid and my kids love them even if the lounge room dose look like a bomb went off the next day. As for me sorry very little on the sewing front as the garden needs some care at the moment to get it ready for summer with new mulch and the removal of BINDI'S. Horrible little weeds that dry up every summer and become prickles that get stuck in your feet. I know you can spray them but I'm not one for using poison, so I spent the afternoon pulling them out . Yes the boys do wear shoes in summer but when you dive for the perfect catch or goal the last thing you want is mum removing prickles from your belly, knees or in one persons case ( me) from there back side because she sat on them.
Have a great weekend I know I will.
Big Hugs
Bec
We always had heaps of Bindis. My mother used to get at them with the best tool - needlenose pliers. You can get a good hold on them and they come out with no prickles in fingers. Time consuming of course but effective. Hmm which reminds me my front yard needs doing.
